Dr. Allison Canter is originally from South Carolina but has called central North Carolina her home for the past 20 years.
She joined the team at Hilltop Animal Hospital in 2018. She obtained both her undergraduate degrees from North Carolina State University, then went on to receive her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from there in 2006
Dr. Canter loves all parts of veterinary medicine but her professional interests include preventative medicine, internal medicine and furthering the human animal bond.
Dr. Canter is married and spends her free time with her husband and 3 boys. Her pets include her 2 dogs, Zippy and Bindi. She also shares her home with her sweet tabby cat, Sandy Fleetwood and Godzilla the gecko. She loves anything outdoors and cheering for any Wolfpack Sports.
